Robotics programme offered in both Early Years and Primary Years, focuses on hands-on learning, problem-solving, and technological skills.
We are dedicated to fostering creativity and critical thinking from an early age. To nurture these skills, we are introducing foundational robotics across Early Years and Primary Years. Students will engage with Arduino Kits and B-Bots, sparking curiosity, developing problem-solving abilities, and gaining practical understanding through interactive projects. This initiative aligns with Discovery Centre’s vision of preparing learners for a dynamic, technology-driven future.
Our French programme for Early and Primary Years introduces children to the language and culture through engaging, age-appropriate activities. By combining language learning with cultural exploration, students develop confidence, curiosity, and a broadened global perspective from an early age. Young learners begin with playful activities, songs, music, movement, and interactive lessons that build confidence and curiosity, while Primary students expand their skills through simple communication, project-based tasks, and cultural exploration.
French becomes a fun, engaging, and meaningful part of their learning journey.
At Discovery Primary Years, our highly qualified teachers continue to engage in a process of professional development throughout their time at school, seeing themselves not only as educators but also as learners. Teachers play the role of facilitators and scaffold to provide need based assistance, during the process of learning. We ensure that our teachers strive for excellence and encourage students to continuously explore their gifts and talents as lifelong learners. They promote positive attitudes toward people and the environment, helping students make valuable contributions to society.
Discovery Primary Years offers modern and age-appropriate facilities to provide students every opportunity to experience as much as possible in a resource-rich environment:
A special Child Protection Committee is appointed at school to ensure the safety and protection of our students and a comprehensive child protection policy is followed to promote their physical, social and emotional well-being. In order to promote the holistic development of the child, we offer Physical, Social, Health and Emotional (PSHE) curriculum of international standards and regularly offer PSHE lessons in our Early Years. As a result of participating in PSHE, students are becoming increasingly aware and reflective. They are learning to question, review, and ultimately choose more positive directions in their lives.
